Hi Guys,

Can anyone recommend a good sub for the 2N5886 power supply transistors?

Should I replace all in the bank if I sub it out?

2n5886 equivalent......take your pick

My rule of thumb:
If the transistor is shorted, just replace that one.
If it's open, replace them all.
My $0.02.

Interesting, is there some particular reason for that?  Or just what you found from experience?

If one transistor shorted out, the fuse took a hit and blew.  If one transistor opened up, all of the other transistors on that rail took a hit.
