Studio Projects like new Original C3 Vintage NOS Caps with “U87” mods $235

Hello, I have an original first generation Studio projects C3 for sale. I added the “u87” mod that mic parts does but point to point not with their circuit board, read about it on here actually. 1uf Mylar 400v 10% capacitors and polystyrene 1% 800v capacitors added on the back side for the u87 add on. Also swapped for 1820pf polystyrene as seen on the front of the board.I’ll add more info when I get home today, feel free to ask any questions, mic sounds great and is in flawless condition. Also selling a modded Studio Projects T3 first gen like new as well input out caps modded polystyrene a heavily modded MXL v63(797 audio capsule) and 2001 and a v93(2003 mxl silver body made for GC), a modded apex 435 and a couple more. All with high quality upgrades for input output caps etc I’ll list those soon as well. I have two original behringer B2’s where the head pops off like an 87, I can either keep them as is or mod the capsules etc on those. Oh and a MXL 960 tube mic that I’ve yet to mod I’ll let go for cheap. Thanks! Again feel free to message with any questions whatsoever

I’ll be looking for a donor body for a k87 capsule in the near future. Maybe one of the behringers you have is a good fit? Does Micparts make a U87 PCB for that chassis?

Behringer B2 is a great fit they can’t make the removable head grill anymore guessing neumann sued them back then, I have a lot of donor bodies or modded circuits you could pop the k87 in too I live in Los Angeles btw

I’m in Los Angeles, I’ll have decide in the next few days if I wanr to let them go, with the swappable heads it makes it such a valuable tool if you own two. Can get two different capsules and two circuits modded differently to have 4 different sounds. I’ll let you know ASAP

Off topic, but how do you tell which are the B2's with the removable capsule? Aren't the capsules already 797 on those?

Look inside. There are at least 3 versions of the B2 pro, the latest uses surface mount parts.
