Tascam 238 Syncassette repair UK

I have a couple of Tascam 238, 8 track cassette recorders neither of which has ever really worked properly. Both have a version of the well known capstan drive speed problem . Apart from that they seem to work OK. Looking for someone in the UK who can make at least one working machine plus some spares out of the two.

Ian, I know a very nice fellow (Calum) in the Highlands that posts on YouTube under Tetrakan (https://www.youtube.com/c/tetrakan), he's been taking care of my 4 tracks for a while, can't recommend him enough. Not sure if he's looking for more work, but I'd drop him a line.

Yes, I managed to find his email and contacted him. We had a good chat and later this week I hope to ship it to him for repair.
