Is someone knows the difference between V272 and V272a ( I am looking after the V272a schematic ...).

Best,

Olivier :?:

Nope...

But here is a link to the biggest collection of Neumann / Siemens / Telefunken schems I have seen

http://www.kubarth.de/diy/german/index.htm

and though they don't have a 272a schem, they do have one for a 272, that should be a rough point in the right direction...

Why do you need to know the difference??

Justin.

I've heard that you can get up to 50dB of gain out of a V272 by modifying the resistor in the feedback loop.

haven't yet tried it for myself, though...

done! :green:

as for v272a:
the a-version of v276 has an IC in the output stage instead of discrete circuitry. i figure it's the same with v272a.

since v276 and v276a are completely identical except for the output stage, one should assume it's likewise with v272 and v272a. of course, you never know before you know
