While truffling about on the 'web I came across this article, which I thought might amuse some here: http://www.electra-print.com/techblog.php

Sigh.

I don't know Jack (there, I admitted it  ). But...

My friend Don once ordered a power transformer from him for an elaborate tube/solid-state line-level crossover of my design. There was a moment when I think Elliano was about to refuse to make it, because when Don told him what the requested voltages and currents were, he said something was terribly wrong---that it was crazy. There was simply no way that you needed that.

Jack makes some good SE transformers.

I think he works out of Las Vegas.

I asked him about Bartolucci inductors, which are wound on a hi perm C Core, he said M6 was best for incremental inductors, I never did understand that.

I really want to try some f thos Bartolucci chokes, but they cost a fortune.
