Hi,
I just received a that1512 preamp kit from dantimax.dk
http://electronics.dantimax.dk/Kits/Preamps_-_poweramps/index.html
I want to use it mainly for mobile field recordings with a shotgun condenser.
I'd like to power it from a 5V  usb powerbank.
Should I get a Murata DC Converter with +15/-15 V outputs or rather one with +5/-5 V outputs?
What is the difference I can expect regarding battery life, headroom or s/n ratio?
I already ordered a chinese DC Converter on amazon for the phantom power supply based on the LM2577.
Do you think my field preamp will work like this?
thanks for any hints and suggestions in advance.
