Hello,
does anyone know the BK Precision 2160  Oscilloscope?

Osciloscope  60Mhz 2 channels with double time base

• 60Mhz double trace, double trigger.
• Vertical Sensibility 1mV/DIV.
• Horizontal Resolution 10nS/DIV
• Components tests (tension, current, freq.)
• Beam-finder.
• Hold-off, adjust X-Y, Z-Mod., Y-output.

I have the opportunity of buying it for  a good price depending if it's an useful and reliable unit or not.
Thanks

Unfortunately I can't seem to find much info on this,
I have the osciloscope with me but I needed a manual for it.

This brand seems to have vanished

I was thinking about that.

I got the oscilloscope and unfortunately it's not working, so it seems i really need to find some info on this so I could get a service manual or a Schematic.

I Posted a thread in the Lab:

I'm posting some photos of the unit in case someone knows a similar model maybe with another brand stamp

Could it be a re-brand?  Made by someone else but marked Univolt?  Not sure how you would find the original manufacturer though unless it is printed inside  :)

I did some research on 60mhz osciloscopes and it's definitely a Re-branded product.

The same unit is sold with this names and models:

Elenco S-1360

BK Precision 2160

Pintek PS-605

BK Precision and Elenco I have heard of before.  Google the heck out of those models and brands, I bet you find a manual somewhere!

thank you.

Yes I did that straight away after I found about these other brands with the same model.

My unit seems the same as the old BK precision Model 2160.
Newer BK models are 2160A and 2160C those don't have the same boards as my unit, probably the boards were revised and the layout changed.

Was able to find some schematics for the BK 2160A at this repair thread:
http://www.eevblog.com/forum/repair/bk-precision-2160a-repair/

Unfortunately the BK2160A uses different boards than the older 2160 unit, and the component placement and numbering is different also. I will check if at least the basic schematic is similar.

thank you
