tl783ckter mounting issues

Is this a feasible substitute for the 783c that the G9 calls for, because I can't find the 783c, only the 783ckter and it looks tiny. I have no idea how this will mount in the G9. Has anyone run into this issue?

The CKTER is surface mount.
You need to mount it on a heatsink like copper to get the heat out!
But the heatsink cannot be grounded.

Now you know the pain we face as power packages are phased
out.

Meaning that the heatsink can't touch the chassis. So this is something that I will have to fashion myself?

Yes that is correct.
It needs to be able to be soldered as that is how you are going to attach the
surface mount device to it.
I suggest copper.
Or a piece of copper pc board.
