Tranny info please

hey happpy people,
The bc3c console had the following two trafo's:
utc a-21 (500:500 per info on the trafo)
and a utc for rca bx25 (hmmm how to x ref this with utc)
**also see gates/utc 41922 trafo info below***
my questions are:
how do i get info on this rca trafo?
would these also be good for a compressor (la2a) project ( just until i can get the a-10's and the ha100/a-24)?
should I just keep these paired with the rca stuff?
I have 5 channels of these preamps and I was going to use one of them as a donor for a compressor.
is that doable?
the other 4 i will put in a vintage gates lunch box style remote unit.
ok BTW the gate pre had two utc 41922 trafo's

Have you had any success racking one of the BC-3c mic pres?

OK, try getting some DCR readings and possibly some inductance tests done. This can tell yiou a lot about transformers.
