Hello. I've just pulled an audio transformer from a (broken) pcb in a DI type box - Session Keyboard Splitter by Atlantex Music.
The pcb had fractured and I thought I'd pull the transformer as the unit using a TL071 to drive it and I would use something else or use it passive.
Anyway - I was hoping the transformer would have some info on the bottom but it doesn't.
All it has for visual id is a logo/outline of a 'bell' type image in solid white on the top face - seems to be plastic/nylon and flush with the metal case.
Anyone recognise a manufacturer from this. Google hasn't helped![Smile :) :)](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
I'll post a pic when I've got one.
It seems to have two windings measuring around 64 Ohm dc and two at around 10 Ohm so I'm guessing some type of mic transformer although probably used 'backwards' in the box to give a low Z balanced output to the XLR.
As I said it has a metal case and this has a 'ground' pin.
Any input appreciated.
Thanks.
