from a vintage Triad catalog:
"The flexibility of Triad J Series transformers permits amplifiers to exceed broadcast standards.
Although economy in construction places them in a lower price class, these units approach and closely approximate the performance characteristics of more costly hermetically sealed units."

Comparisons of  A-67j and HS-56 attached.
Obviously there are many parameters not included, but provocative nonetheless.

Ah, all is clear. Very interesting because I recently discovered these extremely cheap transformers:

I bought a couple of the 10K:10K ones to use as an isolation transformer for a VU meter buffer amplifier and I was pleasantly surprised how well they performed.
