Trying to find Alesis X2 Schematics!!

Hi there,

A friends X2 had a drink spilled on it and is not in a healthy state...and with projects coming up I am trying to get him up and running again as soon as possible...without the schematics it is a bit harder...

I have searched the site...and the few threads that indicate that they have schematics are 5-6 years old and have no working link or an attachment....and finding them online is impossible as well.  If anyone can help out that would be greatly appreciated!!

Would someone be willing to share their X2 schematics with me?

Also, I tried doing a soft reset on mine as the mute group settings seem to be stuck. Anyone have other ways to clear out and unlock/erase those settings?

Would love just completely dismantle the automation system because I’ll never use it…

Not what you asked for but maybe some help for X2-owners.
Many potentiometers on those desks can have poor rivets that loose connection to the resistive element. You sometimes can fix this by tightening the rivet. I discovered this when receiving defective spares from Alesis back in the day.
The EQ section usually does not have this problem.

Did you ever have issues with the midi automation system? Is there anyway to manually reset it?

Know anyone with the full manual with a schematic?!

Yes there were problems with the midi and mute... But I don't remember how to reset. I used to have a technical manual with addendums but it's all gone many years ago.
