Here's a maybe better superregen FM tuner.
It has an RF stage so won't spray RF as much as simpler superregens. The only critical coil is L2; the others are not tuned but just RF chokes and only have to be "close to right".
6D10 is an odd Compactron; it is really a triple 12AT7 (modestly souped-up). The last stage is just an audio amplifier. I assume you have audio amplification laying around, so you can just do the first two stages with a 12AT7, taking signal at C5 R3.
If you think your station transmits below 50Hz, or with low-low THD, you might wanna up C5 to 0.1u or 0.2u 200V film.
