A number of years ago i acquired an LA610 from a friend who had his entire studio destroyed by Sandy.  I've had this thing sitting in a pile of "spare parts junk" and got to thinking... what if i wiped the board clean, removed all the components and repopulated the board.  Mind you, the board was totally submerged in salt water.  I would need a new PS, new Transformers, Tubes, T4 cell and new meter along with all the bits that go on the board.  Question is... would this work?  Or would there be some kind of other degradation of the board itself that might make this an impossibility.  From what I can tell, parts should be under $500 which is still quite a bit less than buying a new or used unit.  I have a fully functioning la610 in my rack, so i could check voltages and compare things if needed since I can't seem to source a schematic for one of these anywhere.

Thoughts?
