Hello Folks,
I'm in racking V376 and V676-modules and I am wondering: Has anyone ever experienxed that these amps are sensitive to P48 on their Input-Transformers? Like the old V72s are. I don't think they have that problem, but not sure.
So - any comments on that?
Thanks in advance
Chris

Really - even with the V72? I can believe that, because I never got the point, how the GND of the P48 should make it's way to the transformer.  So without GND I don't see how the voltage should flow through the transformer. Only the story was repeated over and over again, so... And I also guess there's only one (now dead) source for this myth. I never saw or read a proof on that problem.
Whenever it comes to the "what happens without ramped-power" thing one picture comes to my mind: Jack White with his Tesla-Coil  in "Coffee & Cigarettes"...

So yes, I think I go with a P48 PSU from good old Thomas Funk and matched resistors and don't worry too much.

Thanks silent:arts
