Viewing all posts on one page

I really like the function of a lot of forums where you can view all posts on a single topic on a single page.
They can be big of course but it makes searching through long build threads for specific things so much easier.

Is there any way of doing this? It's one thing I really miss when using groupdiy.

So taking a look at the Simple Machines forum (they make the software), I'm guessing this feature hasn't been implemented on GroupDIY

you can see an example of what I mean in this support thread (the content of the actual thread isn't relevant)

At the top you can see:

Pages: [1] 2  All

If you hit All it basically is the same URL as page 1 but with an extra ;all on the end.

That doesn't work on GroupDIY. I think this is a really powerful feature for a forum which is used extensively as reference for technical tasks.

You can use the Print button bottom right corner of a thread page. It doesn't display pictures but helps to find certain stuff within a thread with browser search function.

yeah, use it while there is no "All" button available. Maybe Ethan will implement it at some point. I imagine it will increase server load a lot if there is no good caching stuff implemented.

I've been printing some threads to PDF files to preserve important stuff. I have to be able to repair something I built 20 ago in future
