anyone know of a schmatic to attach a cheap vu meter to my fetboy? I know i have to rectify the output and buffer it but am fuzzy on the values/components.

The vu meter i have has a + and - and no compensation screw so its probably just a voltmeter with a vu backplate. incredible accuracy isn't all that neccessary. The thing is already in the chassis so id like it to work.

Just like for the G9-preamp there'll be reactions that the Fetboy won't need a meter (ah, that was already the first remark) since it's not a clean & then clipping pre-amp. It's in fact a how far do you want to go-device.
So when accuracy not relevant here, indeed don't spend more on it than a meter for fun.
