Wall Wart Questions

I saw a vendor prototype of one, (a couple decades ago) but I didn't spec it in because it was too expensive. Much cheaper and more flexible to use a simple AC wall wart. That way I could use it more different ways, for different products. The +/-/0v also needed a more expensive 3 circuit power connector set, etc. etc...

I have seen "line lump" supplies with +/- voltage, mostly computer PSUs, but not "wall wart" ones.  Like John said, it is easier to use an AC supply and then do rectification and regulation inside the unit.

one could use  two dc wall warts together much like using 2 X single  PSU's to get bipolar voltages you know where there is a common.  But, I don't see why one would want to do something like that, space alone would be a pain.

you don't need a +and a - voltage rail.
Use a wallwart with one + dc rail and buck/boost converters behind. Then you can generate any voltage you need for analog audio circuits from it. Check out the TI website for it.
