What is a naked pentode circuit?

I was reading another thread and spotted PRR talking about a "naked" pentode amplifier. Anyone knows what that means?

So, clearly just a pentode gain stage without feedback, other than something to keep the d.c. parameters fairly stable, like a bypassed cathode resistor. Get a bunch of gain and don't worry about the distortion.
