etheory Well-known member Joined Mar 21, 2011 Messages 604 Location Sydney, Australia Jan 4, 2013 #2 1N4148 or 1N914/1N914B should be fine. They don't have a value as such as they are just diodes. In this case they are purely for rectification, so, pretty much anything that acts as a rectifier would work there.
