Where to get UA knobs?

I just spent a few hours cleaning a pile of RCA knobs, and you can see the mold lines on them too, for what it's worth.

I see the center hole for the control shaft is sized for 6 mm diameter vs. 6.35 mm suitable for a 1/4" shaft.  Is there a metal insert for the set screws, or can the knob be drilled out easily to go onto a 1/4" control shaft?

They are 6.1mm hence 0.24 inches and they have brass inserts. I imagine that if I have to use 1/4 inch shaft pots I would try to use a metal/wood drill bit of the appropriate size to make the holes wider. I might need to do this eventually if I can't find 6mm pots of the right resistance. I attempted to fit them into a 1/4 inch pot and it does not fit at all.

Inexpensive Chinese remakes on ebay. Like $12 a half dozen or something.

Yeah, I bought some of those and they were crap compared to the ones from Studio Electronics. Far cheaper though.

I've seen some on evilBay but they are expensive. Like $22 each. They are called RCA knobs. I was looking for 8 of them and at that price I would have ended up paying $176 + shipping. Needless to say I got something more affordable. If anyone has a more affordable source for these I would be game.

Yeah, I'd like to know where Studio Electronics gets their knobs.

I just had the chance to touch and see the sato knobs, they are exactly the same as 6 piece pack chinese ones but with a more polish finish.
