OP: Hey, I'm doing an opamp swap out on this Nady Pra-8 and I remember reading somewhere that there are a couple of capacitors that can be clipped out of the board to make the high end smoother. Could anyone who's modded one of these things point them out to me please?

Two topics for two pictures - what extravagance :)
There's not much informations about nady pre or schematic for it.
Maybe am wrong, but for me it looks identical to sm pro pr8...
Look at those photos:

Since both preamps are cheap chinese preamps, this is very possible.
If i'm right, you have schematics for the sm pr8 at groupdiy, topic about the mod few topics lower and probably few other topics.
Try to compare your circuit topology and values of parts with sm pr8 schematic and if i'm right, you will find solutions for your questions and probably much more good ideas for mod.

Well you know.... these CHinese manufacturers do deserve their day in the sun .....

thanks for the heads up on these threads. Yeah, i've been told that it is virtually the same as the SMPR8. in fact, my circuit boards are etched "PR8-1" and are dated to 2003. unfortunately, some of the schematics i've found on these all have more and unincluded parts than mine (680p) and the board is not labled for parts either.

I'll try to keep studying this stuff, but it's really confusing.
