Which kind of Ceramic Dielectric was commonly used in the 60's and 70's

I am in particular, referring to the ceramic caps found in audio amps, guitar amps and guitar pedals.

The kind of ceramic disk types I seem to find easily, are very small with very high voltage ratings, and they sound different than the stuff I find in old circuits.

Not a question of datasheets, I think. Are there datasheets from the 70's online?

I was referring to the popular dielectric types pre-1980 for ceramic disk caps.
