would you have a list of parts (caps) that have been replaced and pictures of the mod?
thanks

Why don't you mod it yourself?

The information you want is here in a different type of way. I don't think anyone will hold your hand thur this. Read the microphone meta, all of it. Go to the Meta Meta dark blue upper middle of the page.

I am gettin sick of all the 100% clones and this type of question. Makes me not want to hangout here anymore.

It seems some of us that have built and tested and modded microphones have started to post less or in some cases not at all.

just a hunch, but it seems weve been getting a flood of people from the tapeop messageboard lately. or at least weve been getting a lot of new posters who sound like the type who hang out there. did someone screw up and post a link over there? on the other hand this also seems to coincide with that guy putting links to this messageboard in his ebay auction

Hey BmC...

Don't get pissed or feel bad... Gus is a very valued member of this board who's just a little tired of re-answering questions. Check the top of the board... there's a link to the Meta-Meta. This has a list of Meta's - including a mic meta. Please check out the metas they are a huge resource of info. Do this, and do a search for mod MXL (a lot of them tend to be based on the Schoeps circuit, so do a search on this). After doing this, sit down, have a think, maybe even experiment on your mic and come back with a more detailed question or the results of the experiments you've made... You'll get a much warmer response that way. Generic, I've mad no effort to look the answer up kind of questions tend to piss people off!

Justin.

Oops... I see Gus got in and answered again before me... but that thread is good evidence that questions like these have been answered before...

Luke... use the search... use the search

Justin.

Are we supposed to be helping each other here? Why wouldn't you wanna help if you have obtained this knowledge from hard work? Good leaders pass on their knowledge with the affirmation that they will be blessed for it. Gus, I promise you. The more that you give, the more you will receive.
