Every set of commercial stereo headphones I have tried suffer from background hiss and noise as if the technology is not as mature as wireless mics, although I find that hard to believe.
Reviews of wireless headphones often show a con as hiss.
The nady pem-500 eim box is said to be hissy.
I setup a stereo transmitter (for use in a car) in my studio with a radio as a receiver and there was the hiss and spitting sound as i walk around as I have heard on every system I tried.
I have a reason for wanting wireless headphones. Just curious about the state of the technology.
Thanks.
