Wiring for NV73

Hi,

First post and a bit of a silly question! I'm very near to completing an NV73 mic pre but have realised I don't know enough about wiring to order the correct wires to finish the project. Do I need audio cable, more than one core? Or normal equipment wire? I'll most likely be buying from Maplin as I'm in the UK.

I'm very new to DIY and electronics and would be very grateful for some pointers on this.
