Hello good people of GroupDIY. I picked up a Neve 88RS that had been in Korea. I want to wire the psu's for 120v as I'm in the states. There's a board in each PSU that has hookup posts for each of the primary wires of the trafo, presumably so one can wire to work with any mains voltages. There are pairs of posts each with the following values 5, 0, 100, 110, 120.
I'm guessing primary windings can be put in series to get 200, 220, or 240v, or one half can be used to get 100, 110, 120v. If this line of thinking is right, then I think it's currently setup for 220v. Does this sound right? Thoughts

You need to parallel the primaries for the lower voltage, and make sure you get them the right way round.
Thanks for the input @radardoug. So I would take that to mean that I'll tie the 120V posts together and connect the mains hot wire (brown) to those. Then tie the 0V posts together and connect those to mains neutral (blue). Not sure if that's what you meant by the right way around?

The windings need to be connected in phase. If not, you will probably blow the transformer up when you apply power.
If you have a light bulb limiter, use it at first switchon.

Sorry, no fireworks or smokeshow.
When inspecting the three main PSUs, two of them had a fried resistor on the 15v and 16v pcb's. Repaired these and need to check voltages next. Fortunately, the other supply had no visual damage and fired up perfectly running through the dim bulb limiter. Thanks again @radardoug for the wiring suggestion. Or, call or email Robin Porter at AMS-Neve and he'll tell how to not blow up your Power suppy...
Thanks, actually have had a chat and some emails with another tenured gentleman at AMS Neve. He was very kind in providing a bunch of useful information. I did recently catch the SOS interview with Robin Porter about the history of this console. Fascinating story.
