Hello all
I sorta "rediscovered" the Wolfson WM8816 digital volume control.
There are a few threads in the group but they dates from early 2000 and Wolfson was since engulfed bt Cirrus Logic and there seem to be no equivalent,
direct or otherwise.
You may suggest the PGA2310 but the big advantage of the WM8816 is the fact that the Op Amp were external, making the playground much larger!
And also you can apply a signal up to +/-18v IIRC
Is there anything that could replace this chip?
