I have done a 500series version of the 1960ies WSW Equalizer 436512. It was part of WSWs Compact-Module Mixing Desks and had the same DANNER-size as its german counterparts from Telefunken, TAB, Neumann etc.

here is a pic of an original WSW unit

it features a highpass filter (60Hz, 120Hz), a 60Hz lowshelf with +-15dB, a highshelf at 12kHz going also +-15dB and a midband with +9db boost and selectable frequencies (1k, 1.4k, 2k, 2.8k, 4k, 5.6k).
the different bands and frequency points are very familiar when looking at other german console-eqs of that time like the neumann PEV, TAB W95, siemens w295 and others, which is no surprise as all these companies were building equipment for the german and austrian broadcast market.

here a pic of the controls (high, mid-freq, mid-boost, low, a small switch for the highpass-filter, a bypass button and a switch to go from boost to cut mode in the mid band.)

in my version I added some functionality to the midband like additional frequency points and the possibility to cut instead of boost.
all the controls are grayhill switches. the low and highband have steps of 3dB, the midband has 1.5dB steps. I also want to implement the possibility for smaller steps with the low and highshelf band.

The transformers for input and output I have wound myself and also the inductors for the different filters.

it is still missing its final front panel, I hope that I will get it soon.

so far I really like how it worked out. it sounds amazing and makes a really wonderful tracking eq.
