WTF detent pot

Hi folks , does anybody know were to find a 41 detents pot ? (for exap. : those mounted on joemeek stuff )

a source here in EU; does exist ?

(I'm always in trouble with good fill right value good quality pots, I never found a brand that macke all value, wen I met right values, there's someting wrong like different shaft or body diameter that doesn't match knobs I've got, right diameter, wrong value) ..........uff!

Yes, there are several manufacturers that offer potentiometers with 41 detents but unless you're looking to buy 1000+ and are prepared to wait 8-10 weeks, your are pretty much left to 'original spare parts' from audio equipment manufacturers.

Of course, at 1000 pcs you're looking at less than $1 each (Alps for example) while an original spare part will cost you $10 - $20 - or more!

Never could see the point with 41 detents. Gives you a false sense of repeatability and they feel awful IMHO. I used Soundcraft consoles in the early 80ies and they used these in great quantities - yuck!
