I have a Yamaha 2408m mixer that I haven't used a long time. I pulled it out the other day and ran some signals through it and found that almost every gain pot is making an awful scratchy sound. In trying to troubleshoot this thing I have realized that every other pot on the entire mixer works fine. Would it seem realistic that a bad capacitor on every channel would fail at the same time? Or would just one pot on every channel become noisy? I can't seem to find a schematic for this thing only a block diagram in the manual. Any help would be great. Thanks guys.
