It always work out somehow. I already had a full tranformerless tube pre, all I needed to do was slap the FET's in there, but I just ripped it apart and stared from scratch, just to do it. The PSU is going be tricky though since the cascode has such a crappy PSRR, I need to optimise the regulator for lower noise and minimum sonic impact on the pre. Whew.

Gyraf made some interesting observations.
In practice I am not sure where I would use this particular circuit,
but the interface between tubes and SS is very interesting
for me right now.
I want to see more control of tubes with SS, and interfacing
between them around as control units and through signal path.
Analag please keep it up.
