Hallo Guys,
If it is not too late i would like to get in on These. A Pair if possible

So the pre order is closed. I´ll order the rest of the parts tomorrow and keep you up to date.

Cheers

Has anyone recieved their kit?  I haven't seen mine yet, but Austria is a long way from Canada.  :)

Since I haven't heard back from you yet I'll try it again:
What's going on with the kits? Can we expect to see them anytime soon??

Hey guys,

sorry for the late reply. My health issues came back. Couldn´t move for the last three weeks. Please forgive me the delay.

The kits are shipped! Every one of you will get a mail with tracking number and other stuff for building the unit.

I hope you enjoy building you own V72 :)

cheers

Thanks Martin! I was afraid your health issues had made another appearance.  I do hope you are on the mend.  And thanks again for making this available to the community.
Peace
Jim

Can someone hold my hand and guide me through the remaining parts that did not come with the kit?  I _might_ be able to solder this together and get audio through it, but my component selection skills are _the pits_.  Unless I missed that somewhere?

Mostly wondering about part numbers for:
1. Input Transformers
2. Output Transformers
3. Chokes
4. Tubes (I know there was discussion about this, but there were two different variants and now I’m not sure which to procure)

Most obliged,  :D

MR

Transformers, you will need input, output and choke.  Look here to find the correct parts.  Also check Martin's first post and pictures.  You can see the part no.s printed on the transformers.

You'll need 2 x EF86 valves or their equivalents per channel.

Hi vineyardgray,

exactly like jim said. If you need help for the other parts like case or phantom power please write me a mail at [email protected]. We´ll figure it out.

cheers
Martin

Hey Andre,

i´m curious too since i haven´t got any feedback yet.

Here´s the latest comparison i did against two original V72. As you can see one of them should be recapped.

cheers

The best ones i´ve ever worked with. Easy to drill. Completly shielded. Just built like a tank  :)
