And what has this to do with a (low-current-no-other-than-)phantom-powered-tube microphone ?

I was just wondering if that would be possible to use one of these tubes with 48V 240Ma phantom power in a microphone circuit. Actually I do not even understand how they make those tubes work from that low current.

As far as I understand it, is this thread about a tube-microphone powered by 48V and approx. 5mA current and not 240mA.... and yes, this should be possible with special tubes and a special circuit.
