Quick question for anyone who is still reading.

How hard would it be to put a -10dB pad and 10Hz 100Hz low cut switches on my G7?

For a -10dB thing, you short the capsule output with a good-quality polystyrene capacitor - try e.g. 3x your capsule capacitance (if your capsule is 75pF, try a 220pF).

A (predictable) low cut is much harder. Maybe lower the grid resistor to a value that gives 10Hz looking into your capsule capacitance?
