If you don't have luck consider the Sound Sculptor MC624, it's excellent - Sound Skulptor: MC624 Monitor Controller - Kit, Other studio devices, MC624

Really great kit and instructions too, a very satisfying build.

The Sound Sculptor MC624 ended my quest for a monitor controller. It´s exactly what I want a monitorcontroller to be. Highly recommended!

I know, unfortunately...

Well from time to time there's people selling here in the Black Market this old Igor project, sometimes already built units or just the kit,
so that's what I'm looking for

There's for sure people that bought the Kit and never had the time to build it

I have an assembled PCB I purchased off another member. I was never successful in getting it working and moved to the MC642.

I was never successful in getting it working and moved to the MC642.

My problems with the MC642 is first and above all it's format,
the rack format is not really useful to me for a Monitor Controller, I need to put it on the table in front of me so the "Remote Control" type format that most Monitor Controllers have, like Igor's project, it's what I really need.

Also the MC642 is really expensive for a DIY unit, or at least for my budget.
