Where can i find cable suitable for headphones?
The tough flexible kind.
i.e DT150 cable.

Ok, think i'll try this.

I'm on the hunt for headphone cable again..
What is this type of cable even called??

Multicored, enamel(?) coated cable.
Tinsel cable?
It's like very fine, multi-strand magnet wire.

I need 6 core stuff this time for head sets with mics built in.
Any ideas?

EDIT:
actually the headset cable isn't the tinsel(?) type. Looks fairly standard.
I'll just hunt down some flexible, small multicore..

I was searching for cable suited for headphones sometime ago also.
I ended up using star quad mic cable the thinnest I could at the time as most mic cables are thicker than what you want for headphones.

Something like this but thinner

But if you you need 6 conductors, maybe try USB 3.0 cable or Network cat5 or cat6 thin cable.
If it's for a specific product from a known brand I think you should try to contact them for spares.

have a look in this catalog also a lot of options there:

thanks chaps.
Not heard of S2CEB before.

The S2CEB,  S2C4S6 CAT 6 stuff look perfect.
Thin, flexable and shielded for the mic line.

The last few rooms i built were wired with CAT6A for the audio lines,  cheap and very easier to poke thru walls etc.

My own research found these as possibles.
Mogami W2789
Mogami 2814

and the Defcon 5 approach would be to wind some thin teflon hook up wire round LAV mic cable, inside braided sleeving!
