I have 2 spots in my console I want to remove caps from.

#1 is after the control room amp (5532)
There is also a 100k to ground after the cap then a 47ohm - OUT TO SPKER.

I was told that most (if not ALL) power amps & Powered speakers have input coupling caps already... is this true? If so... they could also go.

The headphone out amp is set up almost exactly the same as the control room - WITHOUT the caps & 100k to GND (but the gain is a hair higher) ... anyway, I tried running the headphone out to my speakers & it worked well & seemed to be better... cleaner. (I feel it would be better with the lower gain - like the control room)

#2 is just before the SUMMING AMPs (5532)

Now, EACH channel already has output coupling caps before the summing stage... so this seems redundant. I also check for offset with my scope & there isn't ANY!
There ARE caps AFTER the summing amp to stop DC if the 5532 create any (I don't want to remove these)

I just wanted to ask what you guys thought.

Thanks.
