Soundtracs FM 8-4-2 (IIRC) - some questions

Hi!

I just picked up this little console today for a mere $150 or so.
It's in need of some cleaning and is missing one fader cap and one knob cap (anybody know where I can get some spares?).

And I was just wondering;

A) Does anybody have a schematic, service manual or even a manual of this thing? -Greatly appreciated (as all other info)

B) I've read a lot about swapping the Op-Amp IC's in this model.

It uses TL074's and I've read about swapping it with NE5532, MC33079, OPA4134 and OPA3142.
What I've read so far, the OPA4134 gets the best comments

Which one is the most awesome?

Also,
would it be possible to wire either input or output transformers onto the channels?

It doesn't have a lot of info on the FM series (I'll try emailing the guy) but I've read that the MR/X are pretty much the same..

Anyways,
would it be hard to wire input/output transformers onto the modules?
Just to give it more character, it's pretty clean and good sounding now.. But I want it to be a little bit more dirty and "nice", I'm thinking UTC trannies?
