Had to share - found a good price on small parts bags. If anyone else is looking: http://www.cdwplus.com/singlezips.html
Free shipping, and they take paypal.

Thats pretty good prices

I go to a place called Cash and Carry and get them. I think there in Washington,Oregon, Idaho, California, Nevada. One of the local ones sells the bags by the case only, and the other sells them individually. I believe there prices is slightly lower than your listed place, but it's not worth buying a case of 10,000 2" bags unless your selling stuff.

Before I found the Cash and Carry I was going to Craft stores.

There fairly reasonable there, but not as inexpensive as what was posted.

You don't need to buy 10,000 bags.
You can buy these for $4.39 for 1000

I guess I should've shopped around before believing their "the best deal around!" pitch.
A little google searching shows me half the price on the 2x3 bags. But too late, I already ordered from the other place. And that's fine; I don't need 1000 bags.

Mind sharing the $4.39 place?

If you're going to use it to store parts, get the white block so you can write on it.

a little more "expensive"... $4.70 for a 1000  :)

I find that using zip-loc bags for storing parts is a PITA - they stop
"zipping" quickly and get holes in them from the leads too .... then your
parts spill out everywhere !!

For shipping / selling ... fine.

Thanks Marty, that's something to consider. Come to think of it, I've had the 'leads poking though' problem before. Perhaps if I'm going to do this right I should jump up to the 6 mil thickness bags, rather than the standard 2 mil. I don't know if this would help with the stops zipping problem.

Note the 2" x 3" is the same price as 2" x2".
