Alternative OT for DIY D-47 Mic / Advanced Audio BV8 ?

Hi Folks,
don't slay me for asking this Question but I couldn't find an answer.. at least not a clear one.
I've not pulled the trigger yet but I thought about to Build a U-47 Clone, to be precise this one http://vintagemicrophonepcbkit.com/D-47.html

I wanne know if I can use an alternative for the OT, is it possible to use an OT like the Advanced Audio BV8 ?? http://advancedaudio-europe.com/Mics-Parts-DIY/BV8-Transformer
I also thought about to use the AK-47 Capsule.

You could use our standard BV8 but as the ratio is correct 6.5:1 but the
actual transformer core is physically smaller on our BV8 compared to AMI
and Cinemag BV8´s. As our tube microphones use a CCDA circuit, the
larger core doesn´t make much difference to the bass response but the
vintage U47 which uses a Plate follower circuit will have less bass if
using our BV8.

We have a new BV8 transformer available soon, that has a larger core
exactly the AMI and Cinemag but at a lower price"

So where are the new AA BV08s? They were supposed to cost about $75 (I guess that's about 100 EUR when they get to EU webshop).
