I generally try to ignore senior citizen click bait (I already know I'm old), but we don't see much of that here. Reminded by this I dusted off a box of old cassettes that hadn't been touched this century. I just got back from my once a week shopping trip and played a few old cassettes in my car. It was a real pleasure to listen to a friend's first band album project (back when small bands would release cassette tapes instead of vinyl).JohnRoberts said:

back in the day we used whatever we had handy... Yesterday I used my pinky (just barely) and one end of the brush I used to dust off some old cassettes that had been sitting, tape up for decades to firm up the leader that unwound from my brushing away dust. :-[mjrippe said:

We had a very keen new young maths teacher when I was in the fifth form at secondary school. He introduced us to set theory, intersections, unions and so on. We also had a lively discussion on infinity. I wish there had been more inspirational teachers like him.

If I was smarter (or dumber) I would invited her inside to use my phone. If she was going to mug me, it would have been a good way to go (she was in the big circle I find attractive), but I was not on my game so suggested she drive somewhere that she got cellphone service. Maybe that's why I will die single.. :

Today is my shopping day so one more opportunity to listen to old cassettes I recorded back in the 70s, but only recently fired up.
today I heard cuts from Eric Burden and the Animals (there is a man), Frank Zappa (trouble coming), Lothar and the hand people (machines), and more... (buzz the fuzz).
I look forward to more shopping trips, and hearing songs I haven't even thought about for decades. 8)
