So I have this beautifull Neumann KMR82i microphone. I bought it a long time ago, as it was really cheap, 30 USD or something. I I bought it so cheap as it is just a empty shell. I thought that when I will grown up I will put something inside, maybe LED diode or put it in the locker, just to impress people or maybe put inside cheap electret microphone...
As I need one shotgun microphone and then found all this talking about pronomic microphones I decide to put electronic and capsule into that Neumann body. But I couldn't find any usefull informations about shotgun mics, maybe somebody have service manual for KMR82i, as mechanical part are really good. But where to put capsule, as I have just empty shell... Does someone have KMR82i ? What type of electronic is inside ? Like one of the KM184 ?
