Can anyone recommend a cheap(ish) crimp tool for the JST EH P0.6 terminals ? Strugging to find something that isn't £300 that looks like it would work.
I bought my crimp tool on Ebay for something like $15 USD and it is built quite well actually. Slow boat from China though. The particular one I have has 3 teeth of which I only use the smallest one for regular molex connectors. Probably too large for JST. So get the next size down maybe. It has blue handles and it's constructed out of pad-lock style layers of thick black steel.
I don't see why that would happen. You need to feed the wire and connector through the crimp too far enough so that the teeth only crimp the two areas that are supposed to be crimped.
