My MK-328 says it's a 100pf capacitor
My Peak says it's a Diode
My multimeter doenst measure anything on Diode mode (both ways)

If it's a Diode it seems the Cathote is on the + mark, and the anode is on the "-" mark, pretty weird

Hello

I have absolutely no idea...
Do I see a diode symbol at second pict, between + sign and 38.66 ?
What is the size of this component ?

It's a Diode.
It's 3cm long.

The "+" sign it's on the cathode end, it seems some olde Diodes had it that way

I would focus my search on a selenium rectifier (diode).  "E" was the marking for "Einzel" (= single) in opposite to "B" for "Bridge".

e.g.:
An E40 C200 would be a single rectifier with 40V and 200mA.
An E250 C50 would be a single rectifier with 250V and 50mA.
A B250 C75 would be a bridge rectifier with 250V and 75mA.
A B390 C170 would be a bridge rectifier with 390V and 170mA.

Thank you o much.

this one says E340 / 127.5

so single rectifier 340V , and 127.5 mA?

I already replace it with an 1N4007, this selenium rectifier is shot
