Connecting a transformer [BBC LL/228-2PE]
« on: May 22, 2020, 12:37:51 PM »
Hi!
I just got some transformers from a friend that he found.
My plan is to put these into a transformer color box (or atleast try to)!

The information I got about the transformers is:

LL/228-2PE
Impedence Ratio 2:1
Terminations (ohm): Source - 55, Load - High
Primary Inductance 5
Winding Resistance Primary 7 ohms
Winding Resistance Secondary  3.5 ohms

Lead Out Colour Code
Highest impedance winding:  YELLOW - BLUE
Next highest impedance winding: RED  GREEN
Screen: BLACK

My problem is that both sides of the transformers have two yellow leads and two brown leads going out. That makes me, a man with lack of experience, a little bit confused.
How should I do to hook an input and output to this one?

Welcome.

I would use alligator clips, and take notes.
