1073 R70 and Ext Link Question

I'm finishing up a scratch built 1073 and have a few questions regarding R70 5K1 between Pins K and E

• Should R70 be there for both EQ in as well as EQ out? The screenshot shown below appears to indicate so.
• Assuming Ext. link is a 10k fader, should R70 still be there with a 10K fader bridged between pins L and K?

It looks like it is on the original schematic, so leave it in.
