I really love this business model. I have the T.Bone, the screws on the xlr plate are hidden under the sticker. ONKE markings on the switches rang some bells the second i saw the ad. I am sure UA does the "240$ quality controll" on each.

Is everyone doing SM7's knockoffs now?

The TBone seems simlar but not the same, the mount is diference, one sided on the Tbone and double sided on the UA. Also there a ring in the body of the UA before the foam. Also the Foam seems to have a slightly different shape.

Only seeing photos of the internals and more importantly the capsule/dynamic element we could say if they are or not the same thing

Slight cosmetic differences, obviously from the same manufacturer. The original Shure capsule and filter assembly is about 130$ retail, so even that wouldn't justify the price of 300$. Mind you i bought the T.bone for 60$ where Thomman has at least 50% margin.

You "may" be right but it's not at all obvious to me they're from the same manufacturer.
Only seeing the insides and the capsule would reveal that.
They have some similarities like with the SM7 has also, but saying at this point they are made by the same manufacturer it's speculation I suppose

Theres a few options from Thomann for SM-7 type mics
The BC-500 and MB-7 and the MB-20 are all sub 100 euros ,
Then theres Beyerdynamic M70 at 200 euros each , apparently based on the M88 capsule .
The UA Sa-1 isnt far off the price of a real SM-7 so why would anyone bother with it .

Well the SA-1 might sound good, some people don’t like the SM7 that much because it has a low output when compared to other dynamic mics, other people really like it so I guess there’s probably space in the market for everyone

I measured the frequency response. It is closer to sm57 than sm7. The capsule design is also variant of sm57 knock off available on ebay.

It's a nice mic, i guess there are sources where it might work. There is some flexibility due to the built in filter. Real inductors inside as well. No transformer. Not really great noise performance, it could benefit from inline booster.

I made a condenser out of it as i don't have any condensers in that format, however i have several dynamics that perform better imo.

Thanks for the update Kingkorg ,
first is Sm-7b,

Out of curiosity, what dynamic mics do you have that perform better?
