48v return?

I'm having to add a Power One 48v module into a power supply for an old Midas desk and am wondering if I should return the 48v ground back to the Power One module or just drop it through PIN 1 to the chassis? It seems like the original PSU had a separate return

The module ultimately needs to be connected to ground either directly or thru the chassis ground.
