500 series Chassis kit available?

Hi Guys,

I've been away from this domain for a long time, having recently bought a new mixing desk and getting back to making music, i think 500 series modules make a lot of sense, but the API lunch boxes are crazy money! i mean i can make a PSU and a few cables! i appreciate they are high quality PSU and routing and other options.

However, whats the least expensive no frills way to build or buy maybe a 500 series chassis?

I note that you're in the U.K. Therefore it will be a lot cheaper if you shop here once you have taken import duty etc into consideration

For an additional data point, the TAC racks that Rob links above are excellent - high quality, well specified and impressively inexpensive for what you get. I've built two, and would build a third if I needed more 500 slots.
